About Me

My goal is to offer you quality childcare at a reasonable rate. I understand that organized activities, social play, quiet time, and outside play are an important part of each child’s day. I have taken First-Aid and CPR training. My daycare is located in a safe and smoke-free home. As you read over the information on this website, I hope you will feel confident that I am a dedicated, responsible caregiver.

My name is Carrie Armstrong. I was born in 1982. I married in the spring of 2002. My husband and I have a daughter named Aleesha (born in March 2003) and a son named Toben (born in May 2005).

I opened my home daycare in March of 2008. I plan to further my knowledge by attending workshops and obtaining various training courses. For example: I have taken “Planning Nutritious Menus” offered by the Health Unit and have learned more about how to prepare weekly menus according to the Day Nurseries Act.

In high school, I did a co-op placement in a kindergarten class. I love to work with children. I currently volunteer in the nursery at my church, which gives me lots of on-going experience with young infants and toddlers. I have worked in this nursery for over 10 years.
